Central Desktop Review

In any kind of business, it is important that organization of files and documents should be practiced in order to be able to create efficient business processes that will result to better decision making for your business. This can all be achieved not by manual effort but by means of using a software called the Central Desktop. Unfortunately, most businesses these days forgo using this kind of software since they do not really understand what this is all about.

Central Desktop is basically a project collaboration tool used to pool different projects and documents to create a data or a particular business process. What is does is that it simply keeps track of the different tasks that are involved in your business processes.

What makes the Central Desktop one of the best tools that you can use to manage your projects is that it is very easy to install as well as it has a very simple and straight forward user interface. You can do in-place or on the spot editing of a particular document. On the other hand, it is also has a lot of features when it comes to displaying tasks and also can support big database of work. On the other hand, this program also functions well when it comes to the notification of any changes in the documents being circulated in the entire system thanks to the integration of both desktop collaboration system as well as online collaboration method.

Unfortunately, this software does not come free so you have to pay $249 per month. But then, if you have several projects in your hands, then $249 is worth your money especially if you can manage your projects well using this software. The advantageous features of the Central Desktop overpower what it lacks. However, I find it necessary to still report what this program needs in order to improve. For one, it lacks the capability to add roles to the system that allows you to reassign the tasks once you are short handed with man power. On the other hand, the program can only support smaller tasks so this is perfect for small companies. Through time, however, the Central Desktop takes longer time to load especially if you have a lot of projects listed on it. Moreover, the program also lacks features like time estimation and resource leveling. But then again, I am hopeful enough that these things will not be overlooked by the developers of Central Desktop. After all, a computer software undergoes evolution through time.
